Earth & Vine Wine Bar welcomes back Seattle-based singer, songwriter, guitarist & recording artist Javier Anderson performing his delightful solo sets of Bossa & Latin-influenced original compositions along with other intriguing musical surprises - all inspired by years abroad practicing his craft in Spain & Latin America while drinking in copious amounts of analog-era Bossa-Novas, alt-Latin classics & vintage American/World-Jazz.
His latest full-band studio album, backed by Seattle's top session musicians is receiving airplay on KBCS 91.3 FM Bellevue & can also be heard at:

Dain Weisner is a local solo musician who's sound is folk inspired and naturally shaped. His style ranges from soft dream-like indie music to dark blues rock, with an emphasis on storytelling in his lyrics.
Sunday, December 2nd, 6-8pm (sign- ups begin at 5:30)-- Open Mic Poetry Night!
After a summer haitus, the popular (and in-demand!) Open-Mic Poetry Night is back for the Fall/Winter season! Share a story, a favorite poem, a life changing experience, or a personal piece from your archives. This is a special evening focusing on sharing, community, and literary gems --NO experience necessary! Sign-ups begin at 5:30 and readings begin at 6pm. This is one of our favorite nights at E & V--there is always something magical that happens!

Friday, December 7th, 7-9pm---Big Hands Colvin!
Like Marc Cohn, Lyle Lovett and Bonnie Raitt, Big Hands Colvin’s musical style is difficult to define—a little bit blues, a little bit country, a little bit soul. Whether he’s songwriting, singing, playing sax or guitar—Big Hands is a big talent. A former frontman for the Central-Coast-of-California-based, Big Daddy’s Rhythm & Blues Band, Colvin has played with or opened for a number of well-known artists including: Tom Scott, Jesse Colin Young, and Johnny Winter.
Big Hands Colvin has also toured extensively as a member of the Cardiff Reefers, Rock Steady Posse and Eric Ellsworth Band. He is a professional songwriter with an impressive catalog of original material.
Colvin regularly plays with guitarist Jesse Savage and bassist Joshua Colvin.
Saturday, December 8th, 7-9pm---Two Lions Band!
Wrapping up their tour, Two Lions Band will be joining us for an evening at E & V!
Born in 1973, Mitchel's musical training began with his first classical piano teacher in sixth grade. Her inspiration continued to push him forward into using music to express his experiences and journey. His musical influences range from the 80's punk scene to bluegrass, and include the great song writers: Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Beck, Cohen and an endless list of poets, mentors, family, friends, and a constant supply of interesting people from around the world.
Two Lions was formed to showcase the music of Mitchel Slade (guitars and vocals) and his accompanying band. Currently, Ashley Holmberg (violins and co-producer) and Lance Harrington (percussion) perform alongside.

My friend, the talented R'shelle Therriault, will be offering haircuts in her cool mobile salon from 5-9pm! We will be booking 25min. appts and will take people on a first come, first sign-up basis. Sign-up day of at the bar to get a spot! Hair will be dry cut (or spray dampened if needed). R'shelle can work with any style! I can personally vouch for her craft as she has cut and colored my own hair- and also my daughters!

About The Cut Truck owner: R'shelle Therriault, has been doing hair for 10 years. She decided to build and open The Cut Truck in hopes of offering her services to people all over Western Washington, in a fun unique atmosphere, at a reasonable price. A haircut is both a necessity and a luxury at the same time and she believes it should be priced as such. Operating in a mobile fashion allows her to provide her customers with a great cut while keeping my prices fair. Her goal is to travel throughout our beautiful state giving haircuts, meeting people and having experiences doing what she loves and making others look and feel good!

Kurt Lindsay is a soulful singer/songwriter who has been performing all over Washington state for many years. Based out of Tacoma, Washington, he has a voice that is influenced by old soul-singers such as Otis Redding but is also spiced with some folk sensibilities. Kurt has performed every weekend religiously during his time as a professional musician, learning how to evoke emotion and have full control of every song he explores. Equipped with his electric guitar and voice, he captivates audiences all across the Pacific Northwest.

Friday, January 11th, 7-9pm--Malo Castro & friends!
Music is the lifeblood of Malo Castro, a 53-year-old Puget Sound Naval Shipyard worker, who has spent more than 30 years making a name for himself in Kitsap County.
The band plays a mixture of salsa, Latin jazz, cha-cha and merengue music, and claims to be the only band in Kitsap County to play those types of music.
You will love their interactive style and the percussion beats! Come get your salsa on!
